At PAX East I spoke with a guy by the name of Kepa. He's a developer for the game Wayward Souls, which was actually released on April 24th. So now as your reading this you should be able to find it on the Apps store. I have a brief video interview with him below talking about Wayward Souls.
Kepa was great to talk to, and I could tell he's pretty confident and excited about the game. While I was talking to him, he showed me some of the aspects of the game, and controls of the game. The controls were something that you could quickly pickup on but without feeling like you were limited on your movements. I love the style of the game, and with the game being inspired by Secret of Mana, you can't go wrong.
As I said above the game has already been released on the 24th, and you can get it for only $4.99 on there for IOS. According to the developers site, it's also coming soon to Android, and PC. If you want more information check out the developers site RocketCatGames.com.

The Dreamland Chronicles
While at PAX East, I met Scott Hyman, and Parker Davis of ProtoBird Games. They were showing off their new up and coming game, The Dreamland Chronicles. They started telling me the story for the origins of the game while I was talking with them, and it was such a great and positive one, that I couldn't help but ask them to tell me it again on camera.
The Dreamland Chronicles game is a kid focused mobile collectible card game, based off the web comic, The Dreamland Chronicles. This one seems to be the first of it's kind. I had a chance to play the game at PAX East, and I have to say that for a game they claim to be still in the early stages of development, it looks great!
Scott, and Parker were great guys to talk to, and I'm happy to have met them. Here's the actual interview I had with them below.
If you'd like to support the Kickstarter go to DreamlandCardGame.com.
If you'd like to look more into ProtoBird Game go to protobirdgames.com.

The Spookening Interview PAX East 2014
At PAX East I got to speak with Krister Karlsson, the Art Director and Co-Founder of Modesty Creative Agency about The Spookening. I enjoyed playing The Spookening while I was at PAX East, and I plan on getting the game on my Android tablet. I would explain more about the game here but the video interview I had with Krister already has everything I would need say. Watch the video below:
If you'd like to get more information on The Spookening go to WWW.SPOOKENING.COM.
It's available on Google Play, the Apps Store, and Amazon for those who'd like to check it out for themselves.

Post PAX East 2014
I've been in the process of going through the video interviews I did at PAX East, and even started editing them. While watching these interviews it had made me excited about PAX East all over again. It's like reliving the experiences and revisiting the stories told to me about the birthplace of some of the games I actually got to play. I'm going to have these up as soon as possible.
Meanwhile if you'd like to find out some of the things that were going on at PAX East this year check out the article Zach Sheets of Everything Action posted on their site. Zach along with a couple others have joined me at PAX East for the past couple years. Here's the link to the article, http://www.everythingaction.com.

PAX East 2014
PAX East 2014 has finished, and all that we have left of it are the memories, experiences, photos, videos, and the great swag. This year I met a lot of great people, and heard some great developer stories. Now I have a lot of video footage to go through, and I'll do my best to get the interviews up as quickly as possible. Here's to another great PAX East in the book!
